This enables other county departments to take full advantage of the Procurement Department’s knowledge and expertise of purchasing techniques. In addition, Procurement ensures compliance with good business and competitive practices required by applicable laws and regulations.
The Mission of the County of Lexington Procurement Services Department is to procure products, services, and innovative solutions for our clients/customers that add value and provide support to the quality of life of Lexington County, to provide for fair and equitable treatment of all persons involved in public procurement by the County, to maximize the purchasing value of public funds in procurement, and to provide safeguards for maintaining a procurement system of quality and integrity.
