Edmund Landfill: Closing at 3:00PM on Tuesday, December 24th. Closed Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Regular hours for the Edmund Landfill are Mondays - Saturdays from 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The landfill is closed on Sundays.
Collection and Recycling Centers will be closed Wednesday, December 25th and Wednesday, January 1st, 2025. Centers are closed Tuesdays and Thursdays, but are open Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Administrative Offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24th through Thursday, December 26th, and on Wednesday January 1st, 2025. Regular Office Hours are Mondays-Fridays 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Franchise Residential Solid Waste Curbside Collection in the unincorporated areas of Lexington County will operate on a partial adjusted pickup schedule during the weeks of Christmas and New Year’s for those residents that normally have service Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Collections normally scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 25 will be made Thursday, Dec. 26, and those scheduled for Thursday will be collected Friday, Dec. 27, and those with Friday pickup service will be collected Saturday, Dec. 28, 2024. All other service days will be collected as normal. Those regularly scheduled for pickups on Wednesdays will also have a one-day delay in service Jan. 1 due to the New Year, and can expect for their service to get picked up Thursday, Jan. 2, Thursday service will be picked up Friday, Jan. 3, and those scheduled for Friday pickup will be serviced Saturday, Jan. 4. Residents can expect to resume regular schedules Monday, Jan. 6. Please contact your waste hauler with concerns.
