Responsibilities:
- Be proactive in response to current and future vector threats.
- Respond effectively and courteously to the needs of the public.
- Inform and educate the public about the shared responsibility of vector control.
- Apply scientific principles to monitor, evaluate, and improve the ability to fulfill its mission.
- Utilize the most environmentally sound integrated pest management techniques available for the control of vectors through surveillance, prevention, and abatement measures.
- Meet and exceed all federal, state, and local compliances to reduce environmental impact.

- Residential yard and property inspection for county citizens.
- ULV fogging treatment.
- Public education and outreach.
Location and Hours:
- Vector Control is located on Ballpark Road in the County of Lexington compound across from the Lexington County Fire Training Center.
- Hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
