Lexington County receives approximately $1.8 million dollars annually from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Decent housing; Suitable living environments; and Expanded economic opportunities.

CDBG funds can be used to build community facilities, roads, parks; to repair or rehabilitate housing; to provide new or increased public services to County residents; or to fund initiatives that generate new jobs.
