Curbside Solid Waste Collection

Franchise Residential Solid Waste Curbside Collection in the unincorporated areas of Lexington County will operate as scheduled for the week beginning Monday, September 4.  There is no adjustment for Labor Day.

Collection and Recycling Centers

The eleven Lexington County Residential Collection and Recycling Centers will be open and operating on a regular schedule for Labor Day weekend and on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023. The Collection and Recycling Centers Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday 3:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. (closed Tuesday and Thursday).

Lexington County Landfill

The Lexington County Solid Waste Management Landfill, located at 429 Landfill Lane off Highway 302 in the Edmund community will be open during regular Landfill hours - Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Solid Waste Administrative Offices

The administrative offices of the Lexington County Department of Solid Waste Management will be closed on Monday, September 4 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. All Lexington County administrative offices will be closed for the holiday.
